Locum OBGYN Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Our client in Connecticut is in need of a Locum OBGYN Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant until 04/2024!

Job Details:

• Dates Needed: Nov 2023 - April 2024 (5 mths)
• 4/10hr shifts per week; 7a-5p Worksite
• Setting: Outpatient
• Gynecology oncology patients
• Typical workflow is to see patients along with an Attending provider. These tend to be split shared visits where the APP will see the patient and do the H & P, and then join the Attending for the plan discussion. There will be a need to place orders, and follow-up labs, phone calls, etc. If not chemo certified the Attending can do those orders. They will also need to respond to emergencies in the infusion center that occur with their patients.Clinic is 8 am to 12 pm and 1pm to 5pm with the patients seen as noted above. Typical patient load could be 10-20 per day and often times more like 8-14.Credentialing: Approximately 45 days

Licenses, Certifications, Requirements:

• Active CT license;
• Board certified
• PA accreditation or the APRN must hold certification as either an ACNP, FNP, or AGACNP. Oncology certification preferred but not required
• 2+ years exp GYN/ONC.
• EMR: EPIC
